Has anyone in Ohio since WW2 ever did better then Kasich 2014 in an statewide race
In 2004, George Voinovich won every county in his Senate reelection bid. That's the only time (post-WWII) any candidate has swept every county in Ohio. In terms of margin, I'm not sure which was bigger.
Kasich won by 30.6%. Voinovich won by 27.8%.

However, in 1994, Voinovich won 72% to 25%.
