News 12 Long Island/Hofstra University Poll of Long Island, NY
Clinton 40%
Trump 40%
Other Candidate 6%
Not Voting 6%
Undecided 8%

I'm looking for the actual poll release.  There's no Nassau/Suffolk breakdown in the article.   If it's an overall tie, we'd expect Clinton to be slightly ahead in Nassau and Trump slightly ahead in Suffolk.

60% of Long Islanders are dissatisfied with the candidates.

Not surprising. Trump does well in the blue collar areas of LI (Massapequa, etc.) He is probably doing well in Garden City, etc.

The last News 12 poll was by Siena, not Hofstra.  They're not directly comparable.

True. Still, it's nice to see some improvement in an area where Trump should be outperforming Romney significantly. 4 points seems like a decent estimate for the national swing since the debate, anyway, so this makes some sense.
