I dont think 2016 will look like 2004, i'm not sure whats going on to make pollsters conclude otherwise.

knows his stuff? just staying on topic? talking about bill clinton and the foundation all the time?

it's somehow hard for me to believe what he can do at all to "lose" in any classical way.

The point is that white share of the electorate is capable of increasing if the right candidate comes along and increases turnout. It is not impossible that enthusiasm for Trump's candidacy could boost turnout among whites such that the electorate resembles 2004.
