Terrible news! Hopefully the first thing Democrats do when they retake Congress 20 years from now is gut $1.3 billion in farm subsidies for this wretched state.

I am not surprised by this Iowa may very well fall to Trump, but Dems have VA as insurance.

I was told years ago by people that lived there that Iowa was basically a Republican state save Iowa City. Maybe that is finally coming true. Republicans are expanding the map about as fast as Democrats are. The Republicans need to start winning Northern states as badly as Democrats need to geographically diversify to justify themselves.
