Knoll:  http://www.post-gazette.com/pg/05122/497704.stm
Stilp:  http://www.philly.com/mld/philly/news/local/11985778.htm

I'd begrudgingly vote for Knoll in the race, but I'm hoping Hafer, Hoeffel or somebody halfway competent will run.

Hafer will probably. I never thought of Hoeffel running. Maybe that's why he has that goofy "Hoeffel and Friends" site up. Either way, take Knoll off the ticket and you lose a loony lady but also lose support out west. You guys are going to be very weak out there.

I was just thinking of Hoeffel because in 1998 we ran another defeated PA-13 Congress(wo)man

That's true but Castor, Swann, Scranton or whoever you throw up is no Tom Ridge and Rendell is no Ivan Itkin either.

Castor or Swann could be a Ridge but you're right about Rendell not being an Ivan Itkin. You guys knew you were going to lose that race but nominating a Democrat that just barely broke 30%? Come on.

And you tell me not to make fun of Stew Bolno lol.  Yeah, 1998 was pathetic.  I probably would voted for Ridge.  Maybe in 2010, Swann or Castor could be a Ridge but we'd have to see how well tehy did first.

Hafer will probably run for congress (PA-18).

And I want Kukovich to run again.

Remember that she has to make sure it's ok with Eddie. What a joke. Ed Rendell totally controls her every move.

I'm sure that's who Rendell would like as his running mate. We'll have to see. If Hafer rules against a run for Congress, it's probably because Rendell told her not to run because he wants her as Lt. Gov.

And that's giving a nice description of their relationship.
