You see this forum only goes gaga for corporate shill Democrats who pass themselves off as moderates. Corporate shill Republicans who pass themselves off as moderates need not apply.
This all you need to know, to understand the thought process "Bayh will definitely win, Portman will definitely lose".
Portman was always going to hang back, raise a crap ton of money and then bomb the Democrat into submission in the last half of the campaign. The man is a beast, and if the GOP had any brains he would actually have a shot at winning the nomination for President. But fortunately for the Democrats, a good kind providence always protects them from such a traumatic event.
