What happened here?  From 1992-2000 a minor third party got a lot of votes.  What was the third party?  They beat Perot both times and Nader.

I think it was Nym who told me that it is the home county of John Hagelin and he is a professor at a college there, or something.

It was John Hagelin indeed.

In 2000, he received 14.69%.

In 1996, he received 21.28%, beating Perot.

In 1992, he received 22.77%, beating Perot.

It's doubtful that most people voting for Hagelin know that he is crazy and a joke in the science community.

Dennis Kucinich almost won the Dem caucus there in 2004.
