I think Andrew's the one I've seen in Teamspeak the most.  I've never seen Peter in there.  So Andrew must be the ringleader.

I should probably make my opinion on this known. I do not believe there is a "conspiracy." I do, however, believe that there are elitists, but it's hardly organized or widespread. I'm just talking about those assholes who say "Who are you?" when a newbie launches a campaign, or responds to a long speech with "you spelled this word wrong." Not really the same thing as what's being discussed here.

Even when Kevin misspells a word?
That's not really the same thing.  Kevin's undecipherable three-sentence posts aren't in the same league as a running mate announcement, a campaign speech, or something similar.

Heck, I was President of Atlasia and i'm not in the "in crowd", so how does one get in? I don't know.

I mean I was only President.... Wink

And I'm completely unelectable yet Kramer listed me as part of the FEC. (Well, I'm in as a joke, he seriously thinks I'm in)

Still waiting for a response from Cosmo Kramer.  Hopefully he'll respond before Verin and Cheesewhiz bury this thread in pointlessisms.  Tongue

Pointless it was not.  Learned you that; FEC leads to unspeakable task, unspeakable task leads to Pancake ones, Pancake ones leads to the (spooky voice) council.  Much conspiracy in you, I sense.

Nevertheless, stop I will.

I'm not going to respond about the matter because any attempt at intelligent debate will be met with mockery from KEmperor and the others.

I'm becoming a Teamspeak regular, and I never hear any discussion about elitism or anything.

And also, it was said in this thread that the FEC looks down upon new members running for office.  No one who you accused of being part of the FEC looked down upon me when I ran - I was encouraged by them!

This is really getting outta hand.

Just out of curiosity, how did this whole "Forum conspiracy" theory originate?

Just out of curiosity, how did this whole "Forum conspiracy" theory originate?

Cosmo Kramer was the first person to orginally use the name, basically to describe his enemies, people in the Union Party, and moderat libertarians in general. We can also see this growing out of the Teamspeak PAC conspiracy theories that came about around the February election. It has seemed to have grown from their into some sort of mythical ethos. It's first major usage was in a campaign letter that Mr. Kramer sent out to Mideasterners conserning Texasgurl and the MasterJedi re-election.

Okay, so... they exclude every single new member, only they also play favorites with new members?

These two accusations are mutually exclusive.

they don't exclude every single new member, just most.  They're like a snobby fraternity.

Actually I started this thread with the intention of just that (intelligent debate, that is).  If somebody has a genuine concern about elitism, then its only constructive for it to come out in the open properly.  The thing is, so far very little substantial evidence has actually come out about it, which is why the theory is usually met with ridicule.  By answering my original questions, you can change all that.

Perhaps I'm the only one who finds the idea that someone could think that they were elected despite a giant conspiracy that includes everyone but them and a few other people out to destroy them with its awesome power a bit, uh, elitist.

Hahaha, yeah, that's true... I do have to wonder how Preston thinks he got elected if there's this massive conspiracy out there. Tongue

Of course, this does put him in a good situation.  He'll either win, in which case everything is good, or he'll lose to Ben Meyers, in which case that's simply further proof of the forum conspiracy (and certainly not simply proof that people think he's going a tad overboard).
