Both booked via American Airlines miles with a AA Web Special deal. First routing all on AA but the ZRH-LHR and LHR-PHX were on British Airways.

Mostly planned to try as many cool business class products as possible, notably including the A321 Transcon and British Airways A350.

How is it today?

I'm looking at LHR as my change point on my summer flight between ORD and LYS. It's been decades since I changed planes there, and it was a confusing mess to find my way between terminals (a very pleasant assistant recognized my plight and shuttled me on a cart through some of the paths). How is it today?

Surprisingly not terrible. Security was pretty fast and professional. Took about 10-15 minutes to get from deplaning from ZRH-LHR to the main concourse of the International Terminal (including passport check, security and customs)

Getting between terminals is a bit more difficult, however. Lots of crowds.
