Probably writing in Bernie, Webb, or (most likely) a retired general I find who likes civil liberties

I'm probably doing something similar. Likely Webb or Biden.

I've heard you say voting for certain Republicans was not doable due to them not being religiousy enough for you, yet you might vote Trump?

I don't know. Probably Johnson or Castle though. Clinton will easily win Washington so there is no need to vote for her to stop Trump here.

Lean Trump with a chance of a Kasich write-in or Castle vote if he's on the ballot here.

Because of an election with two godawful choices? I voted three times for Obama including the 2008 primaries. This time, I wanted Kasich. I donated to him. He didn't win. As I said, I'm considering writing him in, and it's not like Hillary's going to lose my state.

I don't like Trump, but the Supreme Court is a legitimate issue this time, and it's hard to pull the trigger on a non-major candidate. I'm not voting Hillary, period.

Some vote choices do call into question people's judgments and/or morals, yes. I thought that much was obvious.

It depends on how the polls look. If Hillary is in serious danger of losing Florida I guess I'll vote for her. Otherwise, Johnson. Voted Johnson since I don't believe Trump has a viable path to winning Florida.

Regardless of whether or not you have a point, your smug latte liberal approach to outreach is extremely counterproductive at building a genuine working/middle class movement toward justice.

We liberals need to resist the temptation to lose patience and be smug assholes, as fun as it can be.

Trump.  SCOTUS is too important, and 4 more years of a Dem President means we descend further into SJW nuttery.

Sad I thought you had improved.

What in all the world does class have to do with any of this? I have no idea what RI's socioeconomic status is, and I highly doubt it was in any way a determining factor in his choice of which candidate to support. Please tell me when I've attacked Drumpf supported based on classist code words (seriously, tell me if I have - I think I've consistently avoided that sort of attitude, but if I haven't I dearly want to to better).

Look, I've been saying for a while that the Progressive left needs to remember that it's supposed to be a movement not only for the oppressed and powerless, but also of the oppressed and powerless. Obviously this won't happen until you've got people like IceSpear who thinks WV is a hilarious punchline. But the solution isn't to refrain from rightful moral criticism of people who contribute, knowingly in RI's case (being an Atlas poster and all), to a fundamentally evil political movement. Call me a pearl-clutcher if you want, that's fair game, but that's not the same as being smug.
