Romney will be 73 in 2020. I doubt he runs again.

I think the initial top candidates are Cruz, Kasich, Rubio (if he wins re-election), Ryan (if he wants it), Pence, Paul (though he'll probably never win), and maybe Sasse (though he seems unlikely to me).

Dole was 73 in '96
Bernie was 74 this time



Yeah, it's possible. I just don't think it's likely.
