Kaine for Hillary.

Turnip's is a bit less certain. A few weeks ago, I still would've said Jeff Sessions, but now I'm leaning towards Pence.

I voted Christie but now that I think more about it, it just seems to me that it's more and more unlikely that Christie would even *want* to be on a ticket with Trump, so I'm second guessing Pence, but literally anybody could be his veep choice.

For Hillary it's either going to be Kaine, Warren, or Perez, and at this point I'm thinking (seeing as her descriptions of a VP candidate pretty much describe him) she'll choose Perez. If not him, then Warren.

A Kaine vs. Pence debate would be about as boring as watching paint dry.

That's an understatement. Watching paint dry would be downright thrilling in comparison.

Gingrich, Pence & Kaine

Just realized that Gingrich is speaking at the convention, probably won't be named.

I really think Trump is picking Pence (and I think he'll announce it at Tuesday's rally). Clinton, I really don't know. It'll for sure be either Kaine, Warren of Perez. I increasingly think it may be Perez, but wouldn't be surprised with either Warren or Kaine. But if I had to choose, I say Perez.

Trump's rally is 7:30 PM EDT in Westfield.  Two possible outcomes:

1. Trump announces Pence as running mate
2. Trump asks supporters to rally around Pence for governor (and vice-verse).

Captain Obvious: If Pence is not announced tonight, it will be someone else.

I disagree with all of that.  I don't think he'll announce Pence as his running mate tonight, nor do I think he'll urge his supporters to support Pence for governor.  He'll most likely put off the decision until Thursday or Friday.  I think the rally today is to "test drive" Pence as VP, but it doesn't look like he's ready to decide one way or the other just yet.

Pence has until Friday to make a decision on running for governor.  Thursday or Friday seems to be cutting it close.  Also, if Bernie Sanders endorses Hillary today as expected, a VP announcement from Trump will create enormous disruptive buzz.

I can't see the value of a "test drive."  He's been vetted, they know his strengths and weaknesses in Indiana, and the way Trump rallies go, he could drag Fidel Castro on stage, name him as Veep, and there would still be raucous enthusiasm.  His rallies are packed with sycophants who see Trump as incapable of doing wrong.

Tonight would be the perfect time to announce a VP.  This is how Trump operates: steal the thunder and own the media.

I haven't really been following this much but at this point I can say if it's Kaine there's a good chance I'll be sitting out the election.

I guess you're right. Have past presumptive nominees given "auditions" to possible VP candidates?  This seems unusual, but Trump doesn't follow any known pattern or rules.
