US foreign policy is a lot more important to the Bush family than any social or economic issues and there's not exactly much difference between them and Hillary there.

I am almost certain that none of the Bushes will vote for Clinton.  That would make absolutely no sense.  This might be the most stupid idea Atlas has ever had, and that's saying something!!

It actually makes a lot of sense if you look at how much they truly dislike Trump and how HRC is much closer policy-wise to the Bushes in some aspects than the Bushes are to Trump in practically all aspects. Trump is a figure that you either love or hate, and I'm sure Jeb doesn't love Trump. Not even close. Trump represents all of the elements of the party that the establishment wing has been trying to keep out of their party at a national level. Voting for Clinton is a way for the Bush family to tell Trump to pound sand.

The most stupid idea was probably your response calling the suggestion "the most stupid" when you're not even SURE that NONE of them will vote for Clinton.

I disagree- for example: most every conservative whose biggest issue group is social issues feels lukewarm at best on Trump, but is voting for him.

You do realize that describes absolutely no one in the Bush family, right? Dubya was the closest you'd get to a True Believer but even he probably views Trump's rhetoric on Muslims and Hispanics as a bridge too far.

Maybe he will not be voting for President, but he certainly could instead focus on the Florida Senatorial campaign and vote for his longtime friend Marco Rubio.
