The February 1 Iowa Republican caucuses results were pretty close between Ted Cruz (27,6 %), Donald Trump (24,3 %) and Marco Rubio (23,1 %). What would the 2016 GOP primaries have looked like if Marco Rubio won the Iowa Republican caucuses?

Depends heavily on whether Rubio still flubs the debate pre-New Hampshire.

If not, potential 50-state sweep. If so, probably a quicker Trump win.

I don't think Marco would have won 50 states in any circumstance.  It's hard for me to believe Marco could have beaten Cruz in Texas and Trump in Alabama, for example.

But yeah, a decisive win certainly would have been possible.  I don't know if it would have been guaranteed, though.

Replace Kasich with Rubio and this map looks okay.
