"Describe a Paul/Sanders voter" is an easy question. (The answer: 20RP12/R2D2.) If we inflate the age so that the person was an adult during the campaigns of both men, and voted for both of them, what kind of person would that be?

This person is over the age of 40 today.

I'm pretty sure Ron Paul actually did pretty well with older voters. At least a bunch of elderly people I know liked him. Just old school isolationist paleo-conservatives. The kind of person who supported Ron Paul may support Rand Paul too.

For Sanders a 60's college student who identified as "Maoist" or something in the 60's and has mellowed into a normal socialist. Or a cranky old guy who probably did manual labor his whole life who likes Sanders because he reminds him a tiny bit of  Harry Truman.

A slightly paleoconservative libertarian who supported Barr and Johnson and will support Johnson again.

Ron Paul and Bernie Sanders disagree on most issues, but there's just enough there to have some people who are anti war, anti TPP, anti establishment, and support auditing the fed who support both.

I think they oppose TPP for opposite reasons, though.
