Assuming Trump is still behind in the polls and populist right-winger Norbert Hofer wins the re-vote, could this boost Trump's chances a month later ?

I guess a Hofer-win would be in the international news for weeks ...

The media won't care about an Austrian election when we're one month away from our own presidential election. Hell, they might not care even if we weren't.

No offense intended. Tongue I do think it's shameful how the media ignores most international politics.

If Austria happened to be the UK or Germany it could have some small impact perhaps, but otherwise no.
