Jason Chaffetz is a putrid little twerp, unfit for public office.  He's an attention-whore who's never done a substantive thing in his entire career.  Seeing his smarmy, twerpy self on camera is going to just convince undecided voters that folks are piling on Hillary with no regard for the merits of all of this.

The Clinton Foundation stuff; THAT'S a different issue.  That's an issue the media WILL pick up on; they're not in the tank for Clinton at the expense of their own careers, and this would be a story that would create the new Bob Woodward or Carl Bernstein.  It's also the most powerful issue.  Folks don't really see the e-mail issue as something that makes a difference; even Republicans see it as a partisan "gotcha".  And the same holds true for Benghazi.  But folks understand that when you're FLOTUS, then a US Senator from New York, then Secretary of State, then the leading Democratic candidate for President in 2016, and you go from being underwater in net worth to being worth $111 million dollars (about what Mitt Romney is worth) and your only "business" is the Clinton Global Initiative, folks are going to take note and look askance.  People don't like folks who get rich while in office.  If Twerpy Chaffetz and the Screaming Meemies of the GOP would shut up a bit and let the media tell the Clinton Foundation story, the result will be awesome enough to increase Republican majorities in Congress.

It is also a bit more than lying under oath.  It is lying about material facts of a case under oath.  There is the spirit of perjury, which is something folks can decide for themselves, but the letter is more complicated that folks realize.
