Back in 4th grade everyone wanted to go over there with an Uzi and kill him.  He was our Osama.  Man we hated him.

Then we did kill him and now people miss him.

The dissonance on display is astounding.

Oh the irony coming from Santander...

Actually guys, Vox Populi changed his avatar because he made a bet that he would if Cory Gardner won the election, not because it's an act or ironic.

I keep it now because I think the blue looks better than red.

Remember otter pops? Admit it, everyone always went for the blue one. Same logic here.

Just a fan of the avatar feature, as it's unique and cool, and think it's a shame when it gives no indications about a person's political ideology, philosophy or even ancestral registration.

As for the colors ... green all day.

The avatar feature is cool, but since the party system is screwy its not always a true indicator of our beliefs. I use a Constitution Party avatar because I hate the GOP and Dem Parties, but am a right-leaning independent. If I had the green independent avatar everyone would yell that I should use a Republican one. And since I hate the Republicans (notwithstanding the fact that I am more likely to vote for them than Dems), I'd rather people mistake my views than mistake my partisan identity (or lack thereof). That of course means people mistakenly think I have socially conservative public policy views on things like abortion and porn, but its all about tradeoffs.
