Probably like Chris Gibson, Charlie Baker, Jim Douglas, or Scott Brown.

If we're talking about reflected across the political matrix, probably an intense Tea Partier. Around the same as Ted Cruz, I'd imagine.

If we're talking about simply translated to the right on the political matrix, I'd imagine him being somewhat similar to Scott Brown.

Let's look at it like this... What parts of Bernie Sanders' persona would "fly" in the GOP (even in liberal New England)? A candidate who retained his suspicion of unfettered free trade, nominal support for gun rights, and foreign policy dovishness would probably be electable in Vermont. Assuming he's a Republican, he's still pro-choice, supports maybe some sort of "Romneycare", though attempts to distinguish it from Obamacare, supports Israel, maybe courts the granola vote (which includes homeschooling evangelicals on the right) with suspicion of GMO's, and so on. Obviously, we remove "billionaire class" rhetoric, his identification as a socialist, student loan forgiveness, and so on. Perhaps an emphasis on tax cuts for the middle class. At the end of the day, we see a combination of Old Right and Rockefeller Republicanism that might be electable, even in the GOP, in Vermont on a good year. In the GOP primaries, in a 2016 that lacks Trump, he might be able to pull off a win in New Hampshire based on a combination of moderates and populists. Trump has shown that the GOP has a substantial amount that are outside the Heritage Foundation orthodoxy that might vote for a candidate of "pure rage". Perhaps Sanders could have channeled this to a few wins in New England and the West?

This assumes that Rubio keeps the South and doesn't fall to pieces... Unlikely, in which case, a Cruz South and maybe more Northeastern states going to our Republican Bernie Sanders.

Red - Senator Marco Rubio of Florida
Blue - Senator Ted Cruz of Texas
Green - Senator Bernard Sanders of Vermont

Perhaps, instead, this:

Blue - Senator Ted Cruz of Texas
Green - Senator Bernard Sanders of Vermont
Yellow - Governor John Kasich of Ohio
Red - Senator Marco "Dogsweat" Rubio of Florida

If he ran in the primaries like in Cathcon's scenario? I suspect we might get:

Marco Rubio - 38.3%(14)
John Kasich - 34.0%(17)
Bernie Sanders - 14.0%(14)
Ted Cruz - 12.5%(Cool
Others - 1.2%

Donald Trump?  They at least agree on the trade deals, and they both complain about the political system being rigged.  And they both say YUGE.

Given Sander's focus on economic issues and less emphasis on social issues, I don't see how his counterpart would be the Bible-thumping Cruz. A Republican Bernie Sanders would look a bit more like Jack Kemp IMO.
