I have no idea. I was trying to figure it out. I guess some people will just never vote for an "evil Republican" even though I'm not a Republican in Atlasia or evil, damn I knew I should have changed my avatar to red last night.

Migrendel doesn't have an avatar, I believe.

The voters are as inactive as Migrendel, so they don't know he's inactive, leading them to vote for him.

I take offence to that. I didn't vote for Colin because of a gruge Cheesy

And what grudge is that?

Hmm, the evidence has been deleted. However, I found this: http://www.progressnj.com/atlaswiki/index.php?title=Votes_for_deletion/EarlAW&diff=2990&oldid=2911

Besides, I spelled Migrendel's name wrong on the ballot, I dont think it will count.

I'm doing the Senate races since TD has asked me to so he can concentrate on the Presidential election.

I think the intent of your vote is blindingly clear, and I will count it.

Does the 25 post rule only apply to Federal elections?

Presidential/Vice-Presidential Election

Valid selections:
1. King (U-VT)/John Dibble (L-GA)
2. John F. Kennedy (MRLP-CA)/Ernest (MRLP-HI)
3. Siege40 (IL-VT)/Emsworth (IL-NV)
4. Supersoulty (F-PA)/WMS (F-NM)

I wanted to say that everyone one on my Presidential ballot is someone I’d be very happy to have as President.  It was hard to decide between King and John for the number one spot and between Siege and Super for the number three spot.

Yes, unless you've made it a part of Regional law.

The reason I asked was because Mike Naso has had only 15 posts since he voted in the last Mideast election.

He has enough votes from the last midterm election in April. The special election was in May so I don't believe it's counted from then.

Okay:

The federal requirements are 25 posts in the last eight weeks, it does not correspond any longer to time between elections.

The Mideast has its own activity requirements, which Naso meets.

I guess the only reason BRTD voted was because of the Prostitution Proposition, but couldn’t he have at least took a side on one other Prop?

I almost voted on the last one and thought it over, but then decided I couldn't take a real stance either way.

Sad Sad Sad Sad That makes 4 votes I lose over technicalities.  If I win, I will get rid of these technicalities.

Er, Kevin was on account of a lack of activity and Kodatros was because he edited his post; don't you think it would be a bad idea to remove the requirements of activity and not editing your post?

Kevins vote went because it doesnt make sense - just look at it (top of pg 4 i think) - you cant ever decipher intent from it.

well I know you can't officially, but c'mon, we all realize that he was attempting to vote 1. Phil, 2. Harry, 3. King for president and Colin for senate.  Now I'm not gonna even try to challenge it because there's no way it'd stand up, but we all know in our minds what he meant.

As far as kodratos, as I've said, he didn't edit his vote; deleted the vote and casted a new one.  Now I realize that reposted votes can't count, but his presidential vote isn't reposted, because the first presidential vote was thrown out.  So he really only reposted the senate vote, but not the presidential one.  Now it's total crap that the first one wasn't counted, but that's unfortunate.  That being said, I think Kodratos's vote should count because it can't be a repost as their was no official presidential vote in the first place.
