Stand with Comrade Sanders in solidarity!

Seriously, that's a weird ending to an address.

Well it's starting soon, but whether he will be dropping out in it is the question.

Why else would he hold it?

Maybe he needs money to pay his debts. California wasn't cheap baby.

I disagree.

I often receive email messages from colleagues which end with "in solidarity".  I prefer "ˇHasta la victoria!" and that's what I use, but "in solidarity" seems more appropriate here.

Either Sanders will drop out (which his campaign said he wouldn't do tonight, but the way this election is going, information has had a tendency to become inaccurate almost immediately), or this will be rather insignificant fluff. I guess we'll find out in about an hour.

will he "drop out" without actually dropping out?

Will he get a big speaking slot at the convention?

This has been my guess from the start. It'll probably be something along the lines of suspending his campaign now that the votes are cast.

You cannot speak at the convention before the roll call if you are still a declared candidate.

I'm not sure why he would bother to do this if he weren't planning on at least conceding in some way. My theory is that he knows dropping out in front of a live crowd wouldn't go over well, and he won't have to deal with people booing Clinton if he speaks in this format. Time will tell, I suppose.
