Normally I'd agree with TNV, but with Little Latino-hating Donny at the top of the ticket, Arizona could be trouble for Republicans. Couple that with McCain's extreme unpopularity, and we could have a horse race on our hands. Keep an eye on this race.

Man, claiming McCain's scalp sure would be sweet. I'm not too optimistic though.

Yeah. Kirkpatrick represents the best of the Democratic party - fiscally conservative, strong principles but willing to compromise. Meanwhile McCain is a token for the far-right.

Splendid news! We know Kirkpatrick is a very high-energy candidate and will give McCain a good thrashing!

I don't get that impression from her at all. If anything, she seems kind of timid from the few times I've seen her speak. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but I, too, am rooting for her to send John McCain back to one of his seven homes in Arizona for a long overdue retirement.

I hope this is sarcastic.

I honestly don't know which part of his comment is funnier - that Kirkpatrick is a moderate/conservative or that McCain is a far-right Republican.

Kirkpatrick supports a balanced budget amendment and is pro-gun. But whatever, I know, D label means tax and spend socialist lunatic to you.
