I think we might be seeing a reversal of the urban/rural split, or maybe the GOP is collapsing in the rural areas like they did in the urban areas in the 2000s. But I won't be sure unless the Democrats do better in Appalachia.

On the bright side, this should be more accurate than the Fort Hays poll of the Kansas Democratic caucus...

Well, it would be super interesting if Clinton were to be actually winning the state. However, since this is pure junk, we can move on.

Totally agreed is a junk poll and Kansas is not in play this year.... it just reminded me of that book written about 10 years ago "What's the Matter with Kansas" that tries to explain the collapse of support for the Democratic Party among working-class Whites in parts of the North over a previous few decades.

Thomas Frank was merely dressing up one of the stupider trends in late Bush era Democratic strategy, personified by human jean jacket Mudcat Saunders: No matter what the problem is, the answer is always to pander to conservative white people.

Sure, it's Zogby. But can Zogby do a poll so ludicrous that it gives Clinton a 7-point lead?

Of course I would like to see how Gary Johnson does in Kansas in a three-way race (and this will be a three-way race).

There's something to this poll. Don't like it? Then wait for another. We so far have no polls of the Dakotas or of Nebraska.

The race for US Senator got surprisingly close for the incumbent US Senator during a wave year for Republicans. The Governor is terribly unpopular. The GOP is rifted.

Zogby Interactive's polling was legendarily bad. So bad that he was temporarily shamed into leaving the industry. I haven't paid any attention to Analytics since, which is a distinction extended only to them and Gravis.

I'm calling on Donald J. Trump to announce plans to build a wall around Zogby and make Kansas pay for it.
