Johnson wins Utah. Election thrown to the house. Johnson wins. Utah saves the US.

> Libertarian president
> US saved

Pick one.

I know the interior west is sparsely populated, but this lends credence to the possibility of Trump losing by 2-3 nationally and winning the electoral college, which I'd have never guessed possible.

The EC as a whole is stacked in the Republicans favor, if someone is going to lose the PV but win the EV it's almost always going to be a Republican due to more rural (i.e. acreage) support. To me the possibility isn't particularly surprising.

Somewhat relevant

Rep. Mia Love is in trouble, according to a new Salt Lake Tribune/Hinckley Institute poll, which shows the freshman Republican trailing Democrat Doug Owens by 6 percentage points in Utah's highly watched 4th Congressional District.

Johnson should run a three-state campaign in Utah, Idaho, and Alaska. With a few million in funding from the Koch Brothers, he might actually win some EVs that way.

Looks like he should ass KS as well. I think this is a great strategy to get EVs. It's relatively inexpensive. Just park himself in these states, run positive ads for Johnson and negative ads for Trump and he may be able to win.
