Or, more accurately, his perceived policies? Such as raising taxes on the wealthy, spending more on the working poor, not attacking unions...
I ask this because I just read today that the supposedly moderate Republican Governor of Tennessee, Bill Haslam, signed into law a bill that will lead to the complete elimination of state capital gains taxes within five years. of course, this legislation will mostly benefit the top income quartile, if not mainly the 'one percent.'
If this is an indication of how Republican governors are behaving, it suggests to me they think that Trump in nothing more than a one off (they would probably think that given that they would believe that Trump's amazing self promotion could not be duplicated by any body else) and is not an indication of any sort of realignment in politics.
Of course, if that is the case, the governors could be wrong, but I'd tent to trust their judgement over the prognostications of political journalists.
