In no way will the Libertarian Part ever become the new GOP. If a billionaire was able to get more attention than the Libertarians, than I definelty don't see this change in the parties. Now, there may be a Libertarian wing of the GOP that arrises in the next couple of years, but said wing will probably never become a majority

The GOP and Democratic Party always rise and fall over time. The GOP will have to adopt more libertarian policy versus Republican policy, sure, as evidenced by Democratic wins this decade, but the GOP will stay the GOP. This is just the nature of evolution in the political arena.
