I don't get the argument for Kasich making a play in Indiana if his ultimate goal is to triumph at a contested convention. Stopping Trump in Indiana is pretty pivotal to derailing Trump from reaching 1237.

Many find Cruz to be insufferable too (see US Senate) so there's no reason for Kasich to do Cruz any favors.  Plus. Kasich has an ego like anyone who runs for Prez.  Lastly, if Kasich outperforms Cruz in all 5 Tuesday states, he can proclaim himself  the "one-true Anti-Trump" going into Indiana.  Post Lastly, Romney strategist?
