Democrat Hillary Clinton/Bill Richardson
Republican George Allen/Bill Owens
Independent (or possibly constitution) Zell Miller/Roy Moore

Any thoughts?  Would Zell garner any electoral votes?

He wouldn't win any EV's, but he would devistate Allen's campaign.

Hillary wins. Most of Zell's votes come from people who would never support Hillary anyways.

I agree w/ the map, but I don't think Zell would ever infringe on a Republican...even if someone like Warner or Bayh is nominated, expect him at the next Republican convention in Salt Lake City...or maybe they'll have it in Kennebunckport (sp?) New Haven.  Actually, I don't think Zell would do enough damage in places like Ohio, Iowa, or Florida.  Reps. really don't like the guy, they were cheering him on like a freak show.  Really, I feel sorry for him.  Our party abandoned him to SOME extent, then the wolves came out for their prey!

Clinton - 45 %
Allen - 43 %
Miller - 12 %

Clinton easily wins the EC by narrowly carrying a large amount of swing states.

Why couldn't Hillary carry Arkansas? She's a Clinton after all.

I recall Zell telling Hannity and Colmes that Bayh, Warner; together with Ben Nelson of Nebraska, Blanche Lincoln of Arkansas and Tom Vilsack of Iowa would make excellent Democratic candidates and Presidents!

Of course, this was before Bayh, rightly, opposed Condi - so zig-zag Zell could have changed his opinion by now ....
