Who will win the Republican Indiana Primary?

Indiana is very pivotal to Trump getting the number he needs before the convention.

There has also been next to no polls in this state.

Cruz will have some serious negative momentum heading into Indiana. It wouldn't surprise me at all if Trump won and Kasich gets >20%.

I wouldn't completely rule out Kasich yet, but the only way he wins is if Cruz collapses or in a 34-33-33 type race.

Kasich won all the delegates already, but Cruz will probably win the primary.

If there's one thing this year has shown, it's that the role of momentum is incredibly exaggerated.

I'm inclined to think that Cruz will win by about 5 points, but who knows?  We are probably going into this one blind, which makes it more exciting, I guess.

He should pull a Rubio and tell his supporters to vote for Cruz.

He refused to do it for Rubio in Florida, so I doubt that will happen.

Then again, that might have been because he wanted Rubio out of the race, so it's hard to say.

My head says Trump, but my spleen says Cruz.  My lower intestine says Trump.  My gall bladder keeps getting inflamed and mutters something about Kasich, but only when I eat too much sauerkraut and mettwurst.

Yeah, I think this is different since he wanted Rubio gone and now he needs Ted to keep his convention dream alive. Kasich isn't winning Montana, South Dakota and Nebraska.

If he truly has the delegates in his back pocket, it shouldn't matter if Ted wins. That said, I am not sure if he is capable of this either.

The Indiana GOP will need to look deep within itself and decide: does it want to go with its racist roots and vote for Trump, or go with its fundie roots and vote for Cruz?

There are also the Indianapolis Greg Ballard Republicans who think the rest of the state are nuts, who would probably go Kasich, but they don't amount to a hill o' beans statewide.

Cruz because muh Wisconsin. Wait, Trump because muh Missouri. Wait, Kasich because everything the light (Ohio) touches is obviously Kasich country, lol.

In all seriousness, probably Cruz by single digits.

Cruz? Sorry, but looking at the county result maps of Ohio, Illinois, Michigan and Kentucky, Trump ought to win according to the rules of logic.

The only county Kasich will even move the needle in will be Marion (Indy), and even there he won't come close to winning.

Cruz is going to get heavy support in the Indy suburbs, wealthy NW suburbs, and rural counties, and that should be enough.

Yeah, but the big unknown is Indianapolis + suburbs.

Wow, I expected a Trump landslide due to Atlas's notorious overreactions.

Yeah, but the big unknown is Indianapolis + suburbs.

Hamilton and Hendricks are BIG TIME Cruz country.  Boone marginally.  Marion is going to be a mixed bag.

MSNBC was saying that Kasich's team is PISSED at the #NeverTrump folks for not strongly backing him in New York or in the upcoming Northeastern states like they did for Cruz in Wisconsin. My guess is he's going to go all in for himself in Indiana. He is probably going to camp out in Indianapolis, Chicago suburbs, and the Cincinnati suburbs to eat away at Cruz's support there.

From all the "opposite of conservative" comments made by Little-Hands-Drumpf-Fuhrer today (April 21st), Cruz will probably win the Indiana primary.
