Florence Mayor Frank Willis has entered the race to challenge Mark Sanford.

[Florence Morning News] (Very extensive coverage of his first day media blitz)
[The State] (AP wire copy)

I don't know much about him.  He probably has a bit better name recognition than Tommy Moore since while Florence is small, it is where the Pee Dee's TV stations are based.

Florence has a Council-Manager form of local government, so the Mayor there is basically an at-large elected member and chair of the city council.
