Germany adopts a presidential system and holds its first election in 2018. I am standing as the SPD's candidate against Merkel:

Cool stuff. How did you create the county maps that look like actual Wikipedia maps? Or are these just from other races?

Lmao... I think Zell Miller would actually be a better fitting vice presidential candidate here.

Alternate 2016 election, in which McMuffin carries Utah and Hilldog wins the election with barely enough electoral votes and a weak popular vote mandate.

Kalwejt isn't here now but I know he'd appreciate this:

That really made me laugh. Especially Juzif al-Biden and Malik Pasha.

Never too early to start thinking about this far-fetched matchup, right?

Great work!

I just hope you're wrong about California? I thought it's supposed to stay at 55 votes?

How do you guys create these Wikipedia maps? Using MS Paint to color the states doesn't look that great, especially because of numbers.

Can anyone tell me how to insert a screenshot into a post? (They're asking me for the image URL, which I don't know, since I just took a screenshot of my screen.)

You need to upload the image somewhere. Websites like imgur don't even require registration. Then you post the direct link with the insert image button. Ideally you scale the image to 500 or 600px.

Use the quote function to see how it's done (this is scaled to 400; the unscaled orginial size would blow up this page):

How does one put in non-Wikimedia Commons images into an election infobox w/o the use of Photoshop?

Within Wikipedia itsself, I don't think that's possible. But you don't need a professional photoshop. Just put the no-image file from Wikipedia in the picture's place and then use Microsoft Paint to insert an own image from your computer. With Paint you need to scale the image through that functionality, don't try via mouse because the proportions get messed up.
