How does one put in non-Wikimedia Commons images into an election infobox w/o the use of Photoshop?

Within Wikipedia itsself, I don't think that's possible. But you don't need a professional photoshop. Just put the no-image file from Wikipedia in the picture's place and then use Microsoft Paint to insert an own image from your computer. With Paint you need to scale the image through that functionality, don't try via mouse because the proportions get messed up.

An Eagle's Wings Clipped Election Infoboxes for 1912, 1916, and 1920

Here are the election infoboxes for my AH TL "An Eagle's Wings Clipped" which shows the road to the Second American Revolution and later the Second American Civil War.

1924, 1928, 1932, 1936, and MacArthur's 1937 Coup infoboxes will be coming in the next few days (though I'm debating on swapping out MarchArthur with either Patton or GVHM)

This infobox represents alternate results for the 2024 Presidential Election (Biden v. Trump rematch) in the state of New York. Biden managed to improve his margins statewide by about a point. However, when you look at the trends regionally, things get interesting. In Upstate New York (New York but without NYC and Long Island), Biden managed to improve his margins by an overwhelming 10 points. Biden won Upstate by a margin of 59%-41%, which is unusual for the traditionally competitive area. Many political analysts think that this represents the rapid Republican exodus from the Upstate into more conservative areas such as Texas and Florida, ever since Zeldin's narrow defeat in 2022. However, in NYC + Long Island, Trump managed to improve his margins by 7 points. Trump improved his margins everywhere in that area excluding Manhattan, where Biden improved his margins by 5 points. However, NYC + Long Island still went to Biden by a margin of 65%-35%.

Narrowest Biden victory: Putnam County by 9 votes (or less than a point).
Narrowest Trump victory: Washington County by 250 votes (or less than a point).
