I think Kander is just doing all this to keep himself relevant for if he decides to run for governor in 2020.

Unless Greitens decides to Primary Trump for some reason, Kander doesn't have chance at winning. He'd be better off waiting until 2022, when he can challenge Blunt again (and I'm betting it probably will be an open seat anyways).

Hillary's Onward Together PAC begins email campaign for donations to "groups", whose names are never specifically mentioned in said email.

She can't actually be running again, right?

Kander, Buttigieg, Garcetti, and others. Very little name recognition now and not a lot of typical pre-presidential experience. But hey - if Trump can do it. And with fame - on the internet - being how it is today, it's perfectly plausible that someone like that might 'capture the moment' and run away with it.

Anthony Scaramucci has reportedly told friends that he's interested in running for office some day, possibly even the presidency (though not against Trump, so probably not in 2020):

Yay! If he still remains moderate, this is great for the party.

Joe Biden’s latest project seems consistent with someone who still has political aspirations:

I'm actually the secret leader of the Democratic Party. That's about as accurate as Sanders and Warren being the leaders.

Jeff Merkley seems to be leaning towards a run:

His main challenge now is to boost name recognition.

The NYT has a new story on how Warren is following a traditional script in terms of laying the presidential groundwork, including opening up about herself more.  She's also apparently talking to various policy experts, including foreign policy, which she had previously not shown a great deal of interest in:

Yeah, I thought that was really interesting. I would not have thought of him as a 2016 candidate at all.

Tulsi 2020 confirmed

Tulsi's young enough to Harold Stassen her way in the Democratic primaries for the next 50 years. Probably until 2072 or '76.

He could catch fire. But if he's not "exciting" or "charismatic" I could see him fading by Super Tuesday.
