It's so stupid. Caucuses are horrible. With population growth, it's really inconvenient, even borderline impossible, to expect thousands and thousands or voters (caucusgoers) to cram into a high school gym or a hall for 2 hours and caucus for someone. Abolish them and run primaries instead.

Pima county, which is about 1/4 the size of Maricopa had 130 polling places.

Note that I wasn't talking about a caucus. I'm talking about the Arizona primary, with only 60 voting places for a state of 6.7 million people.

Because it's not early, it's 11:30 PM on the east coast.

He's in California though.

I assume he still wants people on the east coast to see his speech though. Most of them have to work in the morning.

It is 60 voting places in the largest county, not the state, and it is down from 200 last time.

Right now the only Liberal in the race is speaking.

Thank God you can't vote in the US. This whining gets old really fast and is embarrassing to the campaign Senator Sanders is running.

Are you even a Sanders supporting? I am doubting this every post. Also i don't get how facts are whining. Sanders was the one who brought up that Clinton called herself a Moderate.

Yes I am supporting Sanders. I am to the point with Clinton, with her speech yesterday to AIPAC, where I am considering voting Green here in Maryland because my vote really doesn't matter. Yet I am so sick of the whining by many Sanders supporters. I am sick of the idea that Cruz, Trump, or even Kasich would better than Clinton. It is so annoying. Do I need to bump up the Sanders Venting Zone thread?

But I thought the "voting center" trend was supposed to make everything efficient!?

I appreciate the response. No I believe Clinton would be pretty close to how Obama would be (probably a tad more conservative) but yes she would be far better then Cruz or Trump but I believe you should have a choice where we can be excited for the candidate not so literal monsters can't win the presidency.

You see, I respect that position. But I'd really, really appreciate some to understand that some of us are actual fans of Hillary and are excited to see her win.

Not a Caucus.  Thought they could save a buck by reducing the number of precinct for the primary.

I too wish I could be exited for the Democratic candidate this year like I was in 2008 and even 2012, maybe I still will be as the general election starts. Even though I am not a big fan of Clinton, there is a part of me that would like to say I voted for the first woman President. I am going to need to be convinced to vote for her during the general election. Running to the center, picking a moderate as a VP, making statements like she did at AIPAC, etc will only drive me to vote Green. Do the opposite and I would be happy to vote for her. It's really up to her over the next 8 months.

MSNBC cut away from Clinton for commercials. No way they would do that for Trump.

Sounds like CNN did the same.

Democrats need to have another big conference or something to reform the primary process. The crap we are dealing with tonight is utterly unacceptable.
