Detroit needs an actual human being running the city.

As I understand it, most are just moving to the suburbs in southern Oakland and Macomb counties, both of which are entirely under the influence of Detroit. The only difference is less crime, and no Kilpatrick. Not a bad deal.

I find it funny that Detriot has less people in 2005 than it did in 1924.

About a million less. At that time, it was one of the most prosperous cities in the nation.

sweet, no one cares about Detroit

You should, because flight from the city to the suburbs is making your state a more dangerous place to live every day.

Down with Kilpatrick!

Archer was a pretty good mayor, actually... in comparison to the despicable excuse for a human being that preceded him.

where is the detroit airport in relation to the city itself?

ive flown in and out of there several times.  it appears to be a suburban area.

i will be in the mi tomorrow evening, en route to the bay state.

yes it is in the city of Romulus (see map in my post)

It would be more accurate to say that Romulus is in the Detroit Wayne County Airport. That thing is huge... over half the size of the city.
