Just a friendly piece of advice: Hillary would be much more likely to repay a debt of gratitude to progressives who turn out to vote for her in spite of their personal feelings than whomever the GOP might nominate. Do you think Hillary would have been made SoS if her voters had defected or refused to vote en masse?

I'm holding her to this. At the very least, I want Labor Secretary Sanders. Tongue

Frankly, I think Sanders would make a very good Labor Secretary as well.

I mean, he's mathematically alive in the same way McCain was mathematically alive after losing Ohio in 08.

Mathematically, yes, Clinton hasn't won. She may win in April or June, possibly May.
For now, things don't look good. A lot of people would have to change their minds and soon. I don't know if they will. So, in fact, you are correct. Clinton is getting closer, Sanders is falling behind. Honestly, I don't see a path for him anymore. It is possible that he could win. The odds are perhaps 6% according to  betfair. Enough said.

The results haven't been certified yet, so some of the delegates have no been allocated.

Meh. At least we get to watch the Republicans implode. Maybe TRUMP riots at the RNC? Hopefully Hillary picks a progressive/real liberal as VP instead of playing identity politics with Castro.

I've had it with lesser of 2 evils. You know, the lesser of 2 evils won the 1932 German Presidential election....

Wow, a bit ironic for a person supporting a Jew to make an anti-Semitic post.

Yes, it's a horrible post, but I don't see anything anti-Semitic about it.

If you support a Jewish candidate, you really shouldn't invoke Hitler or compare anyone to Hitler. Nobody, not even Trump, is as bad as Hitler, and he's not going to be as bad as Hitler should, heaven forbid, he miraculously defeat her in the general election. He's not going to round up Mexicans, Muslims, and other minorities and put them in gas chambers and ovens like Hitler did. Comparing the probable 2016 general election between Trump and Clinton to the 1932 German election that produced Adolf Hitler, coming from someone who supports Bernie Sanders, a Jew, is insulting to Jews and all other minorities that were targeted and murdered by the Nazis.

I don't get why people who support Jewish candidates should be held to higher standards than other people.

Tom Perez would play both cards nicely, I think.

Not a bad pick, but I don't think he's known nationally. BTW, belated welcome to the forum. Wow, socialist from WY, huh.

To be fair, Castro isn't exactly a household name either. Both of them would more or less be building their national recognition from the ground up.

Also, thanks. Clearly, I live in the spirit of the Wyoming of the 1910s.

And it is a beautiful state. I wish more mountainous states were less conservative.

If you are a REPUBLICAN and want to stop TRUMP, change your registration and VOTE SANDERS!

If you are a DEMOCRAT and think that Clinton will be the nominee, she will pick an ESTABLISHMENT VP nominee, a vote for Sanders is to say NO to Politics as usual. EVEN if he doesn't get 1/2 of the pledged delegates, the more delegates that he does get= a lower chance of an ESTABLISHMENT VP nominee.

Clinton's VP nominee must not be anyone who has endorsed her. That would be a slap in the face to millions of Sanders' supporters.

Sanders is still getting Huge support. Thousands of people are showing up to his rallies, because they refuse to be discouraged. This is because Sanders knows that it is too early to give up. We still have EIGHTY DAYS LEFT!! Smiley Smiley

All I am saying is:
