I wouldn't be too sure of that if I was you. He has incredible appeal and is an excellent campaigner. It would be a great race. And, yes, he'd get above 45%.

You know what the best part is Jake- I never <sexually> been to home plate before.  No seriously, I haven't!  Why do you feel you have to hold people unduly accountable when no one's really harmed?  That's the sole basis of my argument.

Some of us see that as a life and for you to dismiss it with "Oh I don't feel like paying child support" (irresponsibility) is opebo-like. It's not comical. It's a very serious situation. Good luck running for office. Comments like that will destroy you.

Flyers, you can really catch yourself in a bad situation. The specifics of this incident aside, you could end up saying something very similar during a campaign by accident and it would ruin you.

Not yet. Wait for the seat to become open, which will happen when one of the NM Senators retires, then things get insane over here.

Too bad the NM Governor race isn't in 2008, then you could have something interesting when Billy loses the Dem primary and it is an open seat.
