Erc has it listed as 69-61 in favor of Sanders, but I am also coming up withe the same numbers that you have. I asked him in his thread where he got his numbers.

Hope he's right! For all we know, two more delegates could make all the difference. Tongue

B-b-but Decision Desk and Nate Silver never get it wrong, guys!!!!!!1111!!!

Atlas was already Majority Anti-Silver. And hopefully this teaches DD to not make quick calls anymore. It's pretty obvious their luck was going to run out eventually after near mishaps in Virginia and Kentucky.

Here is how Sanders won Michigan:

City of Detroit:
Clinton 72.66% - Sanders 26.22%

Wayne County outside of Detroit
Clinton 49.35% - Sanders 48.51%

Essentially Wayne County outside of Detroit voted like the other two major suburban counties (Macomb and Oakland). Sanders was able to keep the margins down in that area, while dominating in almost the rest of the state. This allowed him to overcome a yuge deficit in the City of Detroit.

If that's the margin in Detroit, is Sanders' improvement (or regional difference) among black voters getting overplayed? That result isn't much better than what we've seen in the south.

That is still about a 25% improvement for Sanders from the South.

I just love that Henry Ford's hometown provided much of the margin for the first relevant Jewish presidential candidate to win Michigan.

Well, Detroit is 83% Black, which means that Detroit Democrats were probably at least 90% Black. Comparing that to the Black Belt counties with similar demographics (where Hillary got 85-90%), it does seem that Bernie has improved a bit (or does better outside the South).
