If you draw a line that extends directly down from the easternmost point of the Idaho panhandle, pretty much every county east of there has a sizable Mormon population.

Blaine County, a ski resort area (Blaine County), just came in strong for Trump with Kasich leading Cruz.

Is it just me, or is the Idaho SoS projecting different #s than CNN?

They are, but I would guess that the CNN is official while the SOS is unofficial because it says unofficial at the top of the webpage.

You can see that divide pretty dramatically in the results so far on NY Times.

Here's the scene at one caucus site in Hawaii as people are checking in:

Seems a bit more orderly than Nevada.

Neither of the results are official.  They're just different unofficial tallies - one from the AP, another from the Idaho SoS.

Rough result for Trump in Boundary County, Idaho, the northernmost county.

Gooding County (east of the Mormon line) puts Cruz back in the lead.

Cruz 51%
Rubio 30%
Trump 11%
Kasich 5%

And there's your Mormon vote, folks.

And Boise is going for Trump, but it might not be enough to counter the Mormon area Cruz landslide.

AP's Ada County is likely just the absentee vote so far.  Who knows if the election-day vote will match it?

Mormon hates Trump.

Utah is Trump's worst state in the whole country.

If those Ada County margins hold up -- and they may be early votes, especially based on the high Rubio % -- this isn't near over.  Ada and Canyon (Caldwell/Nampa) together are nearly 40% of the state.

Cruz up by 3000 in Michigan. But I hear that the Detroit absentee ballots are counted last

Gotta admit, I had expected Trump to be at the bottom of the pack for Madison, Co.

So it's a good night for Trump then, right?

Canyon County coming in with a Cruz lead.  We'll see how additional Ada and Canyon come in, but not a great sign for Trump.
