Trump is going to win the nomination. I don't like him, but I'm not going to fool myself into believing otherwise. I'm mostly a realistic person.

I absolutely love Kasich btw. He's a great man, but you guys are overestimating him.

He hasn't even come close to winning a state. He appeals to a very small group of people. He's boring. The only state he even has a chance of winning is Ohio. He's not going to win Michigan or Illinois. With the exception of Ohio, he has a 0.01% chance of winning a state. Trump already has rust belt whites locked down. I'm tired of everyone saying that Rubio should drop out. Rubio has won PR and MN. Kasich has won nothing. He's a loser.

I love it how when a poll shows Rubio at 3rd place and Kasich at 4th, everyone talks about how Rubio should drop out and not Kasich. Rubio has a better chance of winning than Kasich. Stop fooling yourself into believing that Kasich has a chance of victory. There are some people here who legimately believe that Kasich can actually win a state (other than Ohio). That's sad.

I'm just tired of the Kasich worship. I like him a lot, but let's be a little more realistic please.

Some people, myself included, believe Kasich is the best GOP presidential candidate this cycle. I haven't seen too much "worship" of him in these threads --  unlike that of those who support Trump or Sanders, now that's worship. For folks looking for a reality TV candidate, Kasich is not your man. For folks looking for someone to lead the country, you could do far worse than Governor Kasich.

Will Kasich win the nomination? It's highly unlikely. But does Kasich have important things to say? Yeah, I believe he does, and I think he's worth listening to, regardless of his chances of winning the nomination. Does that make me one of his worshipers? I don't think so, but I could be wrong.

Ehh I still think he has a slim chance in a brokered convention and I'm less certain now that Trump has it locked up.

Kasich ia clearly the most experienced of the candidates.

Unfortunately, he just does not get the airtime.

He has the best foreign policy of any GOP candidate still in the race.

I'm hoping he wins Michigan and Ohio, then drops out.

Kasich is too "boring" to be an object of worship (in spite of Arnold's best efforts Smiley).  Unfortunately for the rest of the GOP field, he is also the only one who has the basic qualifications to be POTUS.  Atlas just recognizes those facts, ahead of the general public.  The GOP electorate may yet decide that flashy beats competent but, in the end, that only helps Hillary Clinton!

You don't have to read the pro Kasich posts.

He's the best candidate the GOP could field this cycle and it's no longer looking obvious that Trump will win the nomination. We're likely not going to have a nominee before the convention. And if Kasich does win Ohio and Rubio loses Florida, it is a whole new ballgame.

I don't think many people at all say that Kasich has a good chance of winning the nomination; this isn't the right year for him.  Based on the town halls I've seen on Youtube, however, I believe he is a very charming man who has a much better grasp of the issues than any other Republican candidate running.

Even if Trump doesn't win the nomination, it won't be Kasich who denies him the nod.

Also, is Kasich worship really worse than potentially Cruz worship or Rubio worship?
