You have to get 20% of the vote to get delegates in Louisiana - it looks like Rubio is going to leave the state empty-handed. Ouch.

This was conducted over March 1-2.  I wonder what the March 2 (Post Super Tuesday) numbers look like.

Probably better for Trump and Cruz, worse for Rubio.

Rubio can still win a handful of delegates if he finishes second in a CD and gets past the 20% floor in that CD, but we can begin to see why he pulled out of campaigning in LA (and KY) this weekend.

I think people are missing the point of why Cruz did well in Oklahoma and Arkansas while sucking wind elsewhere. IT wasn't because they bordered Texas - it was because those two states value their religion and their conservatism more than the elsewhere. Louisiana has some people who thump their bible where ever they go, but also a lot of more people who vibe with the whole TRUMP thing.

Please. Louisiana damn near elected David Duke governor then senator just a couple decades ago, elected diaper boy Vitter even after his (ahem!) "subjective" adherence to "family values" became fully known, and has a rich history of electing crooks and idiots even compared to most other states.

Louisiana doesn't know $hit.

Though actually, Trump's lead in recent LA polls isn't much more than what the polls were giving him in Oklahoma.....

Louisiana's delegate system effectively warrants a blowout here useless.
