Cruz is such a skilled debater.

Cruz won.

Trump was caught in out and out lies.

Yawn. I voted Rubio, but it was close between him and Trump.

Overall though, Clinton was the big winner of the night obviously.

Yeah, that's why she's CRUSHING those losers in the general election polls...

From the parts I watched Rubio seemed to do well against Trump. But this was not wildly different from before. Trump's voters seem beyond helping so I doubt it makes a difference to the race.

Trump, Rubio, and Cruz all looked incredibly childish.

Yup. Kasich won.

TRUMP

However, I voted Carson in this poll because his plea to be attacked made me laugh.

I think Rubio won, he got some good attacks on Trump. It will probably help him pick up some extra delegates that he wouldn't have with a weaker performance.

That being said I don't think the night crippled Trump in any way. Most pundits and folks have said that he's lost every debate he's been in, but it obviously hasn't hurt him. Why should this one be any different? He did what he always does and to his base that is exactly what they want. Almost all of his supporters are locked in and are pretty unmovable.

Cruz was playing second fiddle to Rubio, which means he will forgotten in this weeks media coverage and he will continue to fade off into oblivion.

Rubio won. Will it matter? Probably not, a little to late for Cruz and Rubio to now go after him.

On a side note: Why is Carson still running? He looks like he could care less and barely gets a chance to speak during the debates. I guess he is retired and has nothing better to do anyway, but he really needs to drop out already after Super Tuesday, enough is enough.

the longer he stays in the race, the more books he can sell and the higher speaking fees he will get! Carson's in for as long as they keep inviting him to debates

Agreed, with everything you said. Trump wont be affected and Rubio MIGHT see a small boost.

I think the biggest loser of the debate was Cruz who looked like he was out of the conversation and debate/arguments last night and when he stepped in he was much less effective than Rubio. Trump was able to nail Cruz several times and Cruz's arguments against Trump were pretty weak.

With Trumps big lead he should be fine after last night even if Rubio may have gotten the better of him on that night. His lead is so big it wont make a difference. The polls for super Tuesday show him winning every state besides 1 or 2 and in most states its not even close.

The only states he may lose tuesday are Minnesota and Texas.

Rubio did what he needed to do.  HOWEVER  i agree Cruz is finished.    Thing about it is Rubio should take note when you attack Trump he focuses like a laser on you and eventually wears you down.  Ask Cruz.    Felt like Rubio emptied the gun (no pun) now Trumps team has a truck load of stuff for Rubio.

Trump won because Rubio and Cruz still don't understand that a big part of Trump's appeal and the reason why he is doing so well is because he isn't a morally flawless, doctrinaire conservative.

The only reason to go and listen to a Carson speech is if you suffer from insomnia.

Rubio destroyed Trump, but in comes Chris Christie to ruin it.

I think Trump won the debate. The debate looked like an NFL Game out there. It was like Trump was getting shots(from Rubio) like a QB takes hits from  defenses. The QB doesn't get affected at first but eventually all the hits(although not sacks) it affects the QB. Eventually if Trump keeps on taking attacks in future debates from Rubio like a QB al those hits(attacks) will take a toll.

Kasich was the adult in the room though he didn't get in with attacking Trump like Rubio and Cruz did. Unfortunately for Kasich he is nowhere the leaders on the Republican Primary Leaderboard.

Agreed. Rubio and Cruz were tag teaming pretty good, but Trump really wasn't put off his game, and I don't think the debate will impact the Tuesday results all that much. Honestly, I think Trump has already begun to move beyond the GOP primaries, speaking to independents and swayable democrats. Can't wait to read his book on how to win a presidential election.
