Hillary Clinton (assuming Super Tuesday is as bad for Sanders as the polls predict.) Republicans showed their childishness once again. That's not gonna fly in a GE debate.

I agree with this. Rubio probably won the debate, but Trump also won by "not losing."

TRUMP looked like a man surrounded by squabbling boys (one of them a gay choke-artist, one of them a lying basket-case).

Was it a good idea for Rubio to draw attention back to that Christie line?

It was a risk but he spun it and put it on Trump. Harder for Trump to use it against him now.

I will say, Rubio and Cruz probably did more to hurt their chances in the general election tonight than Trump. Arguing that Trump is wrong on health care because he says poor people shouldn't be dying in the streets because they can't afford treatment is an absurd position to be taking.

Rubio might have been able to stop his bleeding, but its too late. 380,000 people have already voted in the Tennessee Republican Primary. So many votes have already been banked.

Uh, TRUMP won again you political illiterates. Rubio looked like a nervous child, TRUMP injected paralysing venom into Cruz with his brilliant "I FUNDED YOU" comeback.

You guys have been wrong about everything all election.

Cruz destroyed Trump with added flash bangs from Rubio.

This isn't Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. This is a GOP debate. Trump has humiliated Cruz and pretty much everyone on the stage for what, 10 debates now (?), and he keeps winning more states.

You need to stop smoking whatever potent mix of paleoconservatism, libertarianism, and fundamental Christianity you're using and come to the real world where Trump is the leading candidate because of his debate performances.

His debate performances have stunk to high heaven. I'm in the real world and the only people who can defeat Trump, Clinton, and Sanders are Cruz and Rubio.

It's Paleoconservatarianism, Pentecostal Christianity, and getting married to a Jesus loving Jewish Geologist girl in July that is powering JCL. All real and natural. Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter and Marvel vs Capcom > Call of Duty.

I don't think there was a winner. Trump, Rubio, and Cruz all looked incredibly childish. It helped the Democrats more than any GOP candidate.

My sense is that any voter who went into this debate not already sold on one the leading three candidates will come away remembering one thing:

Kasich, by process of elimination.

From the list, Trump easily. People who support him don't care about substance or policy. They care about humiliating the establishment politicians they all hate, and all the attacks Trump has gotten tonight affirms that, and they want someone who vocalises the stupid reasons why they're so angry.

Overall though, Clinton was the big winner of the night obviously.

What a trainwreck. Who won - Hillary probably!

Seriously though everyone had something to cheer for.

Trump had a tough night but his supporters will still think that he is right. Rubio finally showed some spine and had a few good hits on Trump, but he still sounds unsure of himself. Cruz probably ensured he can win TX but not certain he can do any better with Trump and Rubio still in play. Kasich will probably point to the fact that all three were behaving like schoolkids. And Carson just doesn't care.

The fact that Trump immediately jumped in front of a CNN camera to give a post-debate interview showed he feels that he needed to do some spin, and as I type this he is doing yet another CNN post-debate interview.  He knows Rubio had a good night and that he took a hit.

The shrieking lady supporting Rubio won. The entire country heard her message loud and clear.

Kasich didn't have any gaffes, unlike the others, but he didn't have any memorable moments, either. TRUMP had a few mistakes, but they were far offset by a brilliant overall performance.

Rubio won. The question is how much it helps him. I'm guessing not too much. If Trump didn't collapse after the other 20 "disqualifiers", I doubt he's going to start now.

The one thing that did significantly hurt Trump was debate-related, though (that he skipped the Iowa debate because he hates Megyn Kelly)

TRUMP was ahead in the Iowa entrance polls. Dirty tactics by the Cruz and Rubio campaigns brought his numbers down during the night itself.

Unless there is something really bad like Marco Roboto, I really don't think people care that much about the 20th debate. Most folks have their minds made up, especially Trump supporters.
