Yeah, I thought that too during the post Iowa media riggage. And the post SC media riggage. But if it didn't work then, I highly doubt it works now.

How many times do the pundits have to be wrong about Rubio's debate performances before you lot catch on?

Seriously, I watch a lot of debates in quite a few countries (because I'm lame), and Rubio is one of the lousiest debators I've ever seen. I don't get the hype - even Cruz is a better debater, once you get past how disgusting Cruz looks like. Rubio can never work his rehearsed lines in very well, he looks awkward when asked to think on his feet and (most fatally) he doesn't understand what his own part's base wants. This debate in particular was really bad, with his attacks consistently failing and all over the place.

Sounds like the perfect candidate for the Atlas forum!

I actually think Cruz is a pretty good debater. Throughout the debates, aside from maybe Trump, no one has done a better job of delivering his message to the camera. His problem imo is that he's poorly positioned to win the primary because of both ideology and the fact that he holds a federal office.

Rubio was aggressive however it came off as desperate child.  Cruz at least was more natural.

Cruz is good at the science of debating, but he seems to be auditioning for the role of Crooked Televangelist in a hamfisted satire on religion.

I'm about to get high (I have to after watching that train-wreck) but I won't be posting here when I am.

If he does win the Republican nomination, its going to be because of the type of stuff he did tonight.

All Trump can do when he's getting a well deserved beat down is throw personal insults.

How can you not post on this forum when you are high? That's half of what makes this place fun.

No, but I still give him a 50% chance to clinch the nomination.

Let's be honest - if Rubio had the body of (for instance) Gordon Brown then he'd have dropped out before Christmas.

Everybody who think that Trump can lose at this point the GOP nomination are delusional!

That's why John Edwards nearly became Vice President.

In fairness if you like Trump because everyone is against him then him being 'ganged up on' will probably work to his advantage.

Yeah, that's why I think that Rubio has a better chance in a five-candidate field than in a two-candidate one.

Yeah, Trump is like one of those space aliens, that you can seemingly kill, draw and quarter, and then incinerate, who then reconstitutes itself, to savage more of the Fruited Plain. The only way to stop the destruction, is for a superhero with metaphysical powers to drop in, and zap the aliens with magical death rays.

I still think trump def wins the nomination BUT if Rubio ever does come from behind to win it, last night was the night he was able to do it.

He showed the backbone to take trump on like nobody has before. He went after Trump hard straight from the opening remarks. I honestly didn't think he had that in him.
