Well Trump loves the poorly educated, and no state is more poorly educated than WV.  It's quite a romance.

Hopefully if Hillary becomes president she takes the extremely high energy position of moving all nuclear waste from Nevada to West Virginia.
Gotta fill all those empty coal veins with something. Where will the Clinton's hide their murder victims, though?

Bad news for Hillary. This means she's likely going to get destroyed in SE OH/SW PA.

Yeah, but that was a given.

If Trump gets above 45% in Pittsburgh he likely carries the state.

He'll almost certainly do worse in the East than Romney did though.

Hillary would make up losses in SW PA, SE OH with even bigger than Obama wins in the Philly burbs, Ohio cities.

You guys have to remember that Trump is the perfect candidate for this state. The political views of the typical West Virginian match the political views of Donald Trump. WV is the epitome of a right-wing populist state. Hillary is going to do so bad here. Trump might actually do better than Romney here (despite doing worse than Romney nationwide).

If Donald Trump wins a 2016 Republican pickup of the presidency, approximately every state will shift Republicans.

West Virginia carried for Mitt Romney, in 2012, by about 27 percentage points. It was 30 points more Republican than the nation. This poll result would comport with a Republican pickup of the presidency.

An even shift of 2.68% R would do that.  Really it might take more should Virginia still trend D against the national trend (which existing polls suggest).

I don't really see Hillary Clinton doing all that much better than Obama in the cities in Ohio. If anything, she will fall to Kerry 2004 levels in Columbus and lose Cincinnati by about 5% to any of the Republicans running. As for Pennsylvania, I would argue that Donald Trump, John Kasich, and especially Marco Rubio could win the state despite losing the Philadelphia suburbs by large margins by focusing on increasing turnout in the rural areas of the state and by campaigning heavily in Pittsburgh and its surrounding suburbs. If I were Donald Trump, I would actually write off Virginia, North Carolina, and Florida and instead focus on winning the rest of the Romney 2012 states in addition to Colorado, Ohio, Iowa, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Michigan. Both Wisconsin and Michigan are a bit of a stretch, but Trump could potentially do well with blue collar voters in both states.

lolz. Mega thrashing!

Remember in 2013 when Hillary was supposed to be competitive in WV against presumptive nominee Christie, which could help make up for her possible loss in NJ?

Remember when it wasn't that ridiculous to think so then?  I mean, we were basing them on current polling, just like you're doing now!
