In Upstate New York, the Rusties overcame Tony Banks throwing 5 interceptions and 0 touchdowns to win a sloppy decision over Dakota.

UPSTATE NEW YORK 16 Dakota 12

Steve Bono threw for two touchdowns that propelled the Cosmos to a victory over a Detroit squad that gained a lot of yards against a good defense but couldn't get the job done when ithey needed to.

NEW YORK 19 Detroit 9

The Gorgons won in Ottawa thanks to superb running by Dorsey Levens and William Henderson, who scored the first touchdown of the game with a 37 yard run in the first quarter.

They were just terms to give some sense of the normal NFL Weekend, as opposed to me just posting every game at once. If I can get all the games done prior to a Sunday, I'll try to time the postings, but otherwise the terms don't really mean anything. The "4:00" games should be up either tonight or tomorrow morning.

Despite Marshall Faulk rushing for 179 yards, the Pioneers were able to pull out a 14 point win. Kurt Warner threw 4 interceptions.

WASHINGTON 24 Portland 10

The Hurricanes put up a tough fight, but Austin's 2-0 advantage in turnovers was the difference in a 10 point decision.

Austin 27 NEW ORLEANS 17

Behind a 100 yard day by Natrone Means and a stifling defense, the San Diego Spartans shut out the Galaxy for a key road win.

Go Washington! We have no run game or kicker, but our passing game and defense is solid.

Go Pioneers! I need to make a helmet for us.

Brad Johnson for MVP (we should have an MVP vote at the end of the season using approval voting or something).

Yeah, Brad Johnson is def. one of the best football players in the league.

San Juan pulled off a major upset, shocking the Soulties to win their first game of the season. After jumping out to a 10-0 lead, the Don Juans had the game in their control, but the Soulties scored 2 touchdowns and appeared on their way to victory until James Wilder scampered into the end zone with under 2 minutes left.

We didn't that game.  Pittsburgh lost.  Two missed field goals,  One lost fumble.  Heck, Bradshaw was named Player of the Game despite being on the losing side.  About the only stat we led in was points.

I hate to disappoint you guys, but with school starting and my time severely limited, I cannot justify spending time simming football games for no appearant reason. I'm sorry for starting this up without being able to finish it, but I don't expect to be doing this regularly, if at all. Perhaps once the fall sports season is over, but even then this will be very low on my priority list.

Fine by me. It was fun while it lasted, but hard to get into.
