Set an identical poll on AAD. Would be interesting to compare results.

Don't know much about it, but Rob Renzetti worked on it, so I'd have to lean Freedom Show.

The characterizations seem okay and I like the style (which makes it FS), but the show is uncomfortably close to home on a few things to the point of cringeworthiness (which makes it HS)

Ergo, I vote Opt. 3 as a compromise.

I don't know how it can possibly make one feel 'cringe' since its meant to be amusing and sentimental but I obviously don't know your experiences. Maybe cringe isn't the perfect descriptor either if any word does exist for your negative feeling.

Take for example, the artistic beauty of the Society of the Blind Eye episode - Fiddleford's unfortunate loss being such a teaching point for Mabel and really all of us about how important the wholeness of our life's experience is including the highs and lows. You don't get those really important messages hammered home so effectively in children's television very often.

And then the simple innocence of an uncountable number of episodes plus the adorable side characters with the absolute quirkiest puns. To think that I might have missed all of this if I didn't immediately hear Kristen Schaal's voice the very first time this ad ran through my television. So thankful.

I just got into Gravity Falls very recently, and I regret not getting into it earlier.

I think my love of the show had something to do with it.
At one point, four atlas posters had GF-related avatars on AAD. Four.

All good points. I would add also that the epicness and deepness of the last few episodes were a good capstone for the show.

I'd absolutely agree. The first season was above average, the second season was a masterpiece.

Isn't Gravity Falls a kid's show or something? I'm not terribly familiar with it.

Huge Freedom Show. The only animated show I've watched since I was a kid.

Yes, but it can appeal to pretty much all ages. Kind of a toned-down Twin Peaks in a way.

Why do you think the 2nd season is bad?

Name is familiar but only in a distant sort of way. Is this another movie in the same genre as that Guardians of the Galaxy marvel movie I never saw?

Or is this that cartoon that has a gay moon (as in a moon that is gay) who is also a boy?

Neither. It's a TV show created by Alex Hirsch.
