But four year of Kerry and Gephardt! it would be soul destroying and then four more years and having to support them in 2008 while all the GOOD candidates like Warner, Lincoln, Edwards, Bayh, Ford, Rendell, Landrieu, Easley etc... just lingured on in the senate or back in their home states... Kerry/ Gephardt Huh Why God !?! Why !?! ...well I'm... er... sure that Kerry won't pick him and maybe Kerry will be too ill to take the nomination and we can bring back Edwards or even a good ol'd party grandee like Breaux or Biden... wow my imagination is getting fevered... Sad

Rudy would be my first choice, but I hope Pataki runs for re-election. Smiley

Is that because you want him to lose, or you like Pataki?

I want him to lose and have someone new already.

Spitzer ! Spitzer ! Spitzer !

yep.  pataki is a sleaze.

Spitzer is a sleaze.

Spitzer is anything but!

He's a great anti-corrprut crime fighter, and he'll be an excellent Governor some day Smiley

That's not 'crime' he's fighting - he's just attacking Wall Street for doing business.  I personally don't consider white collar crime to really be crime.

That’s where you and me differ Smiley , I do think that white collar crime needs to be dealt with firmly, that said i dislike the tendency by many on the left to think that if someone is rich they must be a bad person that's just plain wrong imho... But Spitzer is doing a good job and last I heard had plenty of support from the folks on Wall Street, so he can't be doing a bad job Smiley , so long as corrupt crime is dealt with firmly and fairly I don’t care, so long as there is none of that “Leftwing Crusader” attitude that is just unfair and counterproductive… and Spitzer seems like a good Moderate Guy doing well in a job that is usually not that noticeable.

Hey, if you hate Kerry but want Bush out then vote for Badnarik.

It's much easier to convince Republicans to vote Libertarian than to vote Kerry because they don't feel like traitors.  Kerry does a lot of flip-flops and he's very wishy-washy, it's easier to vote for a candidate who's honest and appeals to both sides.

I would love to see Rudy run against Hillary. I can't stand her and I think he'd send her down in flames.

He would win 55-45% I think.

If Rudy runs there is a possibility that Hillary might not even run for re-election. Since she would probably lose, that would end her hopes for a Presidential run in 2008. So she might just not seek re-election, focus on a White House run and the Dems would have to find a replacement (Spitzer maybe? Though he's considering a run for Governor, he might be their best hope for defending the seat)
