How accurate are the entrance polls, typically?

In 2012, they came in waves. The first wave had Ron Paul leading with Santorum at 18%. After the third wave, they more or less reflected the final outcome.

So why is it Atlas always crashes on Election Night? I remember back in November 2012 everyone just used the IM chat thingy. Is that gonna have to be a thing this year or has Dave fixed the problem?

I believe Dave said he did server upgrades after. Don't think it crashed in primary season in 2012 either so it may be okay tonight.

At this point, I don't even care who wins. I just know that some group of robotic supporters are going to react horribly, and I want to be there when it happens.

I already have low expectations for my candidate, so we're basically in the same boat.

If Google Trends turn in votes, I think Bernie has a chance

Google "CNN stream" or something and you'll find a dodgy link but honestly as I said earlier I just recommend going in IRC and opening Twitter to keep updated.

Positive side effect - you don't have to watch the world's worst television network, CNN.

I would use the interactive CNN map others have posted, but something I have not seen suggested is the fact that NPR is doing live coverage. It's guaranteed free and you can pick it up anywhere. Same thing for free/public television networks (I don't know which ones are covered by this... maybe MSNBC has a live stream?).

This really isn't worth its own post: there is a township in Lee county, Iowa that also carries the name "Des Moines" (https://sos.iowa.gov/elections/pdf/precinctmaps/lee.pdf).

Election nights on TV are fun. Yes, they are obviously terrible, but that doesn't make them any less entertaining.

A poll just out today is showing Sanders with a 3 point lead in Iowa. Oh boy this is gonna be fun.

From, uh, Quinnipiac, though, which is a not very good pollster.

Better than Emerson, though.

Better than Emerson means not Gravis.

The CNN website is reporting that Hillary already has 3 delegates 2 hours before the caucuses even begins.  I presume these are part of the 8 super delegates?

EDIT:  She does have 388 super delegates already, but none from Iowa.  Confusing.
