It is interesting that in this poll Trump is pretty much the strongest of the GOP candidates against the Dems.  This might reflect the fact that the "establishment" GOP might be learning to accept Trump.

56% voters are 55 and over. 12% are 18-29, well off from 2012 exits.

Well, if the GOP does lose FL like Romney did, they're finished. Dems dont need FL, but Trump struggles with Latinos, so it would be only a bonus.

What happened to Hillary in FL? I thought this was one of her better states.

It has never been one of her better states. However, it's not a lock for Pubs either.

Thus not usable.  Florida is known as a retirement haven, but it doesn't have THAT old an electorate.

The strengths and weaknesses of candidates in individual states is often overstated. All things being equal, Florida will probably remain 2-3 points more Republican than the nation as a whole.

The Dems arent given up on FL, it was close last time because Bill Nelson won. As long as Senate race remains close, Hilary will be competetive. And can win it in an upset.
